My First Public Mix - Stop Mix

This is one of my most recent and impulsive mixes. Download it. Its only an 18 minute mix, I fuck up a lot on it but whatever. The next ones I bring out will be better so you can see my progress. I am on my way...

Mr. Oizo: Lamb's Anger

Apparently Mr. Oizo is weird. I still love him. I still want him to be my made coach. I still want everyone to appreciate his music. I just bought the new album, Lamb's Anger. Check one of the tracks featuring Uffie along with the cover art below.

On another note, a good Chuck Norris quote I heard...

If you have five dollars and Chuck Norris has five dollars he has more money than you.

Dope!

I tell a few people the story of the first time I saw the frontin video, I was like, I'm getting all of the clothes in the video. Like a sucker, I got some. I dont regret it though. I wear that stuff until this day.

If I didnt have work tomorrow I would get this shirt. Look at it here on the BBC Ice Cream blog.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Pink Panther Sketch

This is a sketch of the Pink Panther that I will soon make into an oil painting and put in my apartment. All of my pop drawings have hearts in them (borrowed from Kaws because he puts "X" in the eyes").  This piece is part of the "Make Love" Collection.

Anthony Flammia "Forecast"

808's and Heartbreak...

After listening to the album for the third time in 18 hours, I must say I really like it. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the auto-tune on every track, but I fell like it creates a the consistent theme for the album. It greatly differs from all of his previous albums, not only because of the auto-tune and the tribal drums, but because of it's seemingly dark and dreary undertone. Being that I am a big fan of Kanye, I'm excited because I can see that his music to come will only be more eclectic; and being a hip hop man at heart, I love the fact that a rapper can be so multi-dimensional. Very interesting album. I suggest you buy it…

Damn Dame

I saw this on the Fader. I recently read an article in the Daily News that said Dame was broke. Pretty sad. I feel like all three of the pictures should be on Kanye's Blog. All of the captions should say what they usually say on his blog. "Where are your Yeezy?"

That Concert

Check out these pictures from CMJ with Company of Theives, Janelle Monae and Chester French.

Vintage Stuff

Vintage Cam and Jim Jones in '99. Check Zeekey in the back, dumb funny. Anyway, check the video at around 7:25 for one of the hottest freestyles on youtube. You could let it load and listen there or just listen to the beginning where Cam gives a couple words of wisdom and gives you an idea of how his life was when he was young.

The Artist and the Alligator Bro

Here is Jackie Laryea and Me hanging out before her showing. Check her out at http://www.jackielaryea.com/.

Also, check Jake, Le Tomcat's blog at BPL to the right.

Overdue; The West

These are long overdue...

Towards the end of my 24 hours in L.A.

We went to see our boy Sam in Seattle.

Some paintings by Jackie Larya in Legends Barbershop in LA on Oct 12 2008.

In the airport in LA I think.

We took a small plane one early morning back to Seattle, then went home

More to come, I went to a concert when I came back and I saw Janelle Monae and Chester French. The pictures are whack but whatever. They are coming soon.

Jakies Art

We in there....

Pictures of LA and Seattle are to come

First the Fat Boys Break Up....

First the fat boys break up, then KIMBO SLICE(AKA Your worst Nightmare) gets fucked up then... Nothing else. It was kind of a fluke if you ask me but you can see it here. Anyway, I am off for a couple of days. I am about to have a ball.

I am gonna do a short trip to Seattle to see one of my boys with me lass and I am going to see my friend Jackie's opening and then experience one of the best places in the world, L.A. (so they say) for my first time. Then I have the rest of the week off to go to homecoming. Check out Jackies Website. I want to put up one of her pictures but you know artists dont make it easy for you. Maybe I will interview her for the blog or something....

Looking forward to it...

MF Doom

I am going to try to buy an MF Doom album after I stumbled upon this.

Banksy

I hear there is a Banksy in Soho? Apparently someone from my school is doing their thesis on his work.
