Kaws

I became familiar with Kaws when I used to buy a lot of BAPE stuff in '04 '05. I remember I went in the store and they were telling me these new sneakers were coming out designed by the same guy who did some of the clothes. Kaws. (I guess this was pre-Original Fake?) You can see the pic of one of my shirts with the BAPE ape on it. I liked those. I still wear them sometimes. Anyway, I did this paper on street art and KAWS came to mind again. In my 'research' I stumbled upon this old video of him hitting the streets in the olden days.

So that was about 5 months or so ago. Recently I heard he had an exhibit in Miami. I just saw the pictures. Dope. You can see more at Supertouch.
